Our Malawi coffee is a slightly darker roast offering natural cocoa & maple syrup undertones. Supporting 3,000 members (25% women) comprised of 6 cooperatives in the region, the coffee is produced at attitude of between 1700 to 2000m above sea level. The Mzuzu cooperative goal is to improve quality of life of farmers through sustainable farmer organizations by promoting sustainable, production, processing and marketing technologies.
The cooperative achieved Fair Trade Certification in 2009 and are currently working on their Organic certification.
